Listed on the Facebook Marketplace for 900, even though the owner wants $9,000 (why do people do that? Cheapskates like me don’t want to pay 9,000 bucks, we want to pay 900 bucks.
Though you are getting quite a bit of truck... Owner says it was built for one of the Terminator movies... I haven’t seen any of them (and I probably should), but does anyone recognize the truck?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
It’s got NOS too because why wouldn’t it. Just thought I’d share this, I haven’t posted on here in a while because I’ve been busy, tired, and unmotivated to do a whole awful lot. I also haven’t done much car related stuff in a while, but when I get a chance to go on a drive you better believe it’s going to be. along one.
EDIT: It has signatures on it, though none of them look like Arnold’s...
Take care folks.

Truck aside, the first two Terminators are worth seeing, especially the second

It was built so they and their friends could go to watch the premier of one of the Terminator movies. He never said it was in the movie.
Those are his friends signatures. Good times.

Ah, that makes much more sense, though “built for the movie Terminator” is a bit misleading, don’t you think? Still, good times indeed.

At first glance I desperately wanted it, but upon further inspection, kill it with fire. Also, if this is truly an ‘88 (which it looks like based on the extended cab window with the divider and some interior bits ) it’s got a front end swap off a newer truck and the 7.3 is the IDI, not the powerstroke that everyone is so in love with.
Facebook for some stupid reason seems to have their own assessment range of values for the thing you’re selling, vehicles particularly. If you’re outside of their range you can’t post the add. Hence the $900 post but actually $9000. Facebook just sees a ‘88 F-350 and says, “nope, not worth $9k, not gonna let you post it”. It’s kind of annoying at times, but in this case they’re not wrong.

It says 07, so that would be salvation, which means no Arnie.
It could be real, there were plenty of background vehicles. Its a post apocalyptic flick.

Must mean T2, this truck is an 88 and T1 was 84. I work on shows, this site does a good job showing screen used vehicles in films. The fact that they didn’t really get the title right is odd. It could be a crew truck that towed a trailer, not a screen car.

These guys are pretty good at labeling anything with any presence , even cars they crash into in films are noted on here typically. They usually rent crew trucks so I don’t know. I mostly worked on stuff in Hawaii so it was always rented since you can’t drive to Hawaii.

That makes a lot of sense, it looks a bit too custom to have been put on screen. It still has the MadMaxx Customs logo on it, which probably wouldn’t have made it on the scre en , but if they used it as transportation or marketing that’s pretty neat. Still, an odd thing to find on the FB Marketplace.

My favorite is Lion King 1.5, though typical people call it Lion King 1 1/2...

Just watched the 1st one the other day. It was worth watching I guess, although the special effects were kinda janky. (Not that I’d necessarily expect 80's special fx to be amazing)

Its a good 80s action/horror movie. The 2nd is better for having watched the first, and is a modern blockbuster. Action, scary, funny, etc. It's a great movie
